This Privacy Policy describes how QRWork ("we", "our", or "us") handles data and information collected when you install, launch, and use the QRWork mobile application (package ID: com.iteratrail.qrwork) on Android devices.

1. Offline-First Architecture

QRWork is built as a completely offline-first utility application. All scan records, generated codes, metadata, pins, and custom notes are stored locally on your device in a secure, isolated database (Hive storage). We do not run background telemetry collection or upload your logs to any proprietary remote servers.

2. Optional Cloud Backups

You can choose to trigger our simulated Cloud Sync & Backup functionality under settings:

• Google Drive Sync: Backs up your configuration and local database files securely to your own personal Google Drive storage space. We do not store or gain access to your credentials or files.
• Email Backup: Packages a secure local database archive link and prompts your active email client to send it.

3. Permissions Required

To deliver our core scanning utility operations, the app requires standard device permissions:

• Camera Permission: Required to scan QR codes and standard retail barcodes via the device camera lens. It is analyzed purely locally in real-time.
• Gallery Storage Access: Required only if you explicitly choose to import an existing image from your photo album to decode a barcode.

4. AdMob Advertising and Data Usage

Our free version contains Google AdMob advertising banner, interstitial, and rewarded placements to cover developmental costs:

• AdMob may collect anonymized advertising identifiers (AdID), network connectivity metrics, and basic device properties to serve personalized ads.
• If you upgrade to our Premium version via Google Play Store In-App Purchases, all AdMob SDK operations are disabled completely.

5. Children's Privacy

QRWork is a productivity utility that does not contain content intended for children. We do not knowingly collect or request personal details from anyone under the age of 13.
